Boost your open source strategy with OW2 community, the European NGI intiative, and the OSPO Alliance
OW2 is an independent European open source non-profit foundation established in 2007, based in France, and open to companies, public organizations, academia and individuals: we host projects, promote them, deliver software and foster a community.
OW2 can help your open source project and your organization to gain momentum in the open source world. We are also influential as a recognized actor of social economy: we can help finance advanced open source projects across our participation in the EU NGI initiative (currently, the NGI-Search cascade funding project, that can finance SMEs, associations or even individuals, up to 150 kEUR), and partner with other foundations to make open source become mainstream (as an example, we co-funded the OSPO Alliance to promote open source governance in large organizations, with Eclipse, Open Forum Europe and the Foudation for Public Code).
