I do financial analytics with big data technology for BBVA Data & Analytics in Madrid. My job is implementing analytic solutions both for short term analysis, like studying the viability of new products/services, and for the long term: providing our team of analysts with an analytical framework that enforces our high quality standards. This typically involves programming in R and/or Python and less frequently in C++. I have long experience tackling problems with high dimensionality and writing analytical software.
