Sirve de complemento a esta \u00faltima norma y establece buenas pr\u00e1cticas de seguridad en el marco de los servicios cloud. Para cada art\u00edculo, se especifican las posibles consideraciones relativas a estos servicios en la nube. Aunque los expertos en seguridad y calidad podr\u00e1n adoptar la norma r\u00e1pidamente, su lectura puede resultar m\u00e1s dif\u00edcil para el resto.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La norma ISO 27017 no solo se centra en los proveedores de servicios cloud, sino tambi\u00e9n en la seguridad del conjunto de estos servicios; de hecho, tambi\u00e9n se tiene en cuenta el punto de vista del cliente. Estas exigencias adicionales permiten estandarizar las relaciones entre el cliente y el proveedor de servicios cloud.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Otras normas como la ISO 27018 proporcionan orientaci\u00f3n destinada a las empresas que se encargan del tratamiento de datos de car\u00e1cter personal. Al igual que la norma ISO 27017, esta norma tambi\u00e9n complementa las medidas de seguridad establecidas por la norma ISO 27002 (1), pero en el marco del tratamiento de informaci\u00f3n de car\u00e1cter personal. Las medidas de seguridad de la norma ISO 27018 son relevantes en el contexto de los servicios de aplicaciones (SaaS) que procesan informaci\u00f3n personal y tienen una aplicaci\u00f3n limitada en el caso de nuestros servicios de infraestructura.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A pesar de su importancia, no existe una certificaci\u00f3n como tal de esta norma. Se trata de un compendio de buenas pr\u00e1cticas en el que se incluyen recomendaciones para mejorar la seguridad del servicio, y no de un sistema de referencia de conformidad. Estas recomendaciones se pueden integrar f\u00e1cilmente en un sistema de gesti\u00f3n certificado ISO 27001. Los auditores de certificaci\u00f3n si pueden incluir en las pr\u00f3ximas auditorias de seguimiento una inspecci\u00f3n del cumplimiento de estas buenas pr\u00e1cticas. De este modo, contaremos con una evaluaci\u00f3n independiente de la implementaci\u00f3n de estos est\u00e1ndares de seguridad en nuestros procedimientos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Esta norma ayuda a que todos los datos que el cliente necesite para estar seguro de su protecci\u00f3n frente a posibles riesgos. En el caso de \u00a0proveedores de servicios cloud, estos deben proporcionar informaci\u00f3n a los clientes sobre la arquitectura, la tecnolog\u00eda utilizada, las medidas de seguridad adoptadas y las funcionalidades disponibles, as\u00ed como sobre el contexto de uso (por ejemplo, la tecnolog\u00eda de cifrado utilizada o la localizaci\u00f3n geogr\u00e1fica de los centros de datos).<\/p>\n<p>El proveedor tambi\u00e9n debe establecer el lugar que ocupa el cliente en estos procedimientos operativos y en la gesti\u00f3n de modificaciones, actualizaciones o incidentes. De manera general, la norma incide en la importancia de definir claramente el papel y las responsabilidades del cliente y del proveedor en materia de seguridad.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En el caso de los clientes de las empresas de cloud, la lectura de la norma les permite identificar los puntos m\u00e1s relevantes y le gu\u00eda a la hora de elegir a sus partners. Los CIO (Chief Information Officer) quieren mayor flexibilidad y poder recurrir al proveedor m\u00e1s adecuado seg\u00fan el caso. As\u00ed pues, el suministro de los servicios inform\u00e1ticos evoluciona de forma natural desde un modelo en cadena hacia un modelo en red. La multiplicaci\u00f3n de las relaciones comerciales y t\u00e9cnicas lleva aparejada una nueva complejidad que tenemos que aprender a gestionar.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La norma ISO 27017 permite estandarizar las relaciones entre los clientes y los proveedores de servicios cloud mediante un modelo de an\u00e1lisis e intercambio com\u00fan, facilitando as\u00ed la gesti\u00f3n. Las empresas que se ajustan a la norma ISO 27017, permiten que los usuarios de sus servicios disfruten de unas mejores garant\u00edas de seguridad.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">(1) La norma ISO\/IEC 27002 engloba un conjunto de 113 medidas o\u00a0best practices\u00a0para todas aquellas personas responsables de la implantaci\u00f3n o el mantenimiento de un sistema de gesti\u00f3n de la seguridad de la informaci\u00f3n (SGSI).
