Alex joined Birchbox at the end of 2013 attracted by the possibility of changing the way people discover and buy for beauty products in Spain, as it is already being done in the United States, the United Kingdom and France.
Since he joined, the company has experienced several changes in their local operations and strategy to adapt Birchbox’s value proposition to the tastes and needs of Spanish women, these have poised Birchbox Spain to an exponential growth in very few years. Alex has extensive experience in digital businesses and as entrepreneur achieving several rounds of international funding.
He has a PDD from the IESE business school, as well as Postgraduate studies in business development and digital marketing from ESIC and law studies. Currently, he is member of the management team of the Beauty Cluster Barcelona as an expert in online retail.
