IBM, founded in the United States in 1911, is located in more than 175 countries and has a worldwide workforce of 380,000 professionals. In Spain, iBM has been present since 1926. Its activity focuses on providing clients with technological solutions and consulting services that contribute to the success of their businesses.
Throughout its history, IBM’s success has been based on its ability to adapt to changes in the market and society. The company helps companies in any sector to undertake digital transformation. For this, IBM has a wide range of high added value technologies such as IBM Watson cognitive systems, IBM Cloud computing, IBM MobileFirst mobility technologies and cybersecurity, always with a sectoral focus.
IBM is also at the forefront of emerging solutions such as Blockchain, which will allow major changes in the digital relationship between people and entities and plans to democratize markets even more than the Internet. This is a historic milestone because during this period IBM has managed to exceed the threshold of 100,000 patents registered, covering different areas such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing and digital security.
