Biography
Clara Pezuela has a degree in Computer Science from the Universidad Politécnica of Madrid. She has 19 years’ experience in R&D projects development and management. Currently, she is the Head of IT Market at Research and Innovation Group in Atos. Her main responsibilities now are the management of research groups focused on cloud, digital platforms, intelligent systems and software engineering, dealing with management of teams and projects, defining the strategy towards future research in mentioned topics and transferring research assets to Atos business units. She is skilled in open business models and innovation processes, collaborative development environments, service and software engineering. In last years, she has coordinated an integrated project in FP7-ICT-ARTIST about migration of applications to the cloud and an activity project (MCloudDaaS) in EIT Digital about usage of multi cloud in Big Data analytics as a service. Currently she is coordinating a H2020-ICT-TANGO about simplifying and optimizing the software development for heterogeneous devices. She is the FIWARE solution manager at Atos, an open and standard platform for development of smart applications in IoT. She is also the President of PLANETIC, the Spanish technology platform for the adoption and promotion of ICT in Spain. Her current interest areas are innovation management, the improvement of software development processes and methods and the adoption of innovation assets by the industry
