Biography
Miriam Urbano leads WomanTech project: an online magazine whose main objective is to give visibility to women who participate in tech, computer science and online universe, as well as promoting women’s empowerment through new technologies.
During his formative and professional career, her career has been focused on new technologies, digital environments and development of applications and tools. In this sense, she has also made research stays in prestigious European centers and collaborations in R + D + i projects in translation and technology fields.
Translator and proofreader of training and digital consultant by vocation, at present Miriam Urbano is Founder and Editor-in-Chief of WomanTech as well as she works as a freelance digital consultant and programmer in collaboration with different agencies, companies and institutions. She also is VP of Communication in Power to Code: an association whose main objective is to promote technological vocations and programming activity in women and girls.
