Public Money? Public Code!
Why is software created using taxpayers’ money often not released as Free Software?
At the Free Software Foundation Europe (FSFE) we want legislation requiring that publicly financed software developed for the public sector be made publicly available under a Free and Open Source Software licence.
That is why the FSFE runs a campaign until the European elections to demand that code paid by the people should be available to the people!
The talk is about the campaign, the background and the goals.
