Daniel Diez Garcia, Global Head of Blockchain at UST Global.
Daniel is a renowned Spanish entrepreneur internationally distinguished for his career as one of the first early adopters to promote the use and development of solutions and ecosystems based on Blockchain technology, founding companies such as Bit2Me (awarded as best startup of 2015 by Actualidad Económica), Blockchain Toolkit (first Blockchain training academy in spanish) and Furai (first spanish blockchain consultancy) among others.
He currently holds the position of Global Head of Blockchain and Emerging Technologies in the US technology multinational UST Global, leading multidisciplinary teams located in more than 10 countries and works with more than 15 universities, research centers and business schools as a teacher, mentor and researcher, while advising public institutions, startups and investment vehicles tokenized, internationally.
He is also a co-author of the bestseller “Blockchain: The Industrial Revolution of the Internet”, the best-selling Spanish-written Blockchain book with more than 7 editions sold in a year across 5 countries.
