Biography
I am Lenny Horstink, I’m from the Netherlands, and currently I live in Spain. I studied Business Informatics, and my first jobs were as a programmer. I grew interest in online marketing, and specialized in marketing automation, This is where I landed my first job in an open source company: Zentyal. After Zentyal I moved on to become the marketing manager of Collabora Productivity, famous for their work on putting LibreOffice in the Cloud, and currently I am Head of Marketing at SalesAgility, the driving force behind the world’s most popular open source CRM: SuiteCRM. I also do consulting work for other firms, such as the open source slack alternative Mattermost. All my marketing experience in the open source sector has made me a specialist that knows how to grow and engage the open source community, while creating a healthy pipeline of leads with commercial interest, making open source a success.
