Teresa Alarcos has significance experience in Good Governance and Compliance. She has been serving several boards as Non Executive Director of the Nominations & Remunerations Committees, and Audit, Control & Compliance, in different industries: tech, biotech, educational, cultural institutions and foundations.
She is currently Board member at Several startups , Advisor at SolidQ Golden Partner at Microsoft, Founder and President of W Startup Community Forum, Vicepresident of Esade Cultural, Innovation Alumni Club, and is a member of the Diversity and University Commissions at Alastria Blockchain Consorcium.
She is a member of the international network of Non Executive Directors “Women Corporate Directors” supported by KPMG and Spencer Stuart globally.
20-years experience as Executive L’Oreal Paris, Vivendi group Paris, Lycos Europe Gutteloch, Yoigo Madrid, Eli Lilly and Ono-Vodafone as head of the Business to Business Unit.
Graduated at IC-A, Institute of Directors and Administrators and with a grant from Banco Santander studied board management at UCLA-Anderson, and IESE.
Lately Teresa enrolled at Singularity University to better understand disrupted technologies, and “moonshot” long term strategy approach. And now she is her Ambassador.
Key-note speaker and Business Angel at EsadeBan, Esade’s Business Angels network and advisory board on the Harvard Club Business Angels network, GoBeyond Swiss women investors platform advisor.
She was born in Valladolid, Spain, and studied and worked in France, England and the USA., Latin America and Escandinavian countries. Medical Doctor, Graduated from Harvard Business School in General Management, and International MBA at Esade, PhD Cum laude.
Happily married and mother of two children, Juan and Íñigo.
A very important part of my life is inspiring women leadership in digital and robotics (Hamburg University of Technology Camps) as well as fundraising for different purposes (Ronald McDonald Foundation) to help and build together a better society.
